Android: How to Fix Error 9010 When Connecting to Colourpin II

If you’re an Android user and see Error 9010 when trying to connect to your Colourpin II device after updating to a new app version, this usually indicates a temporary connection issue between the app and the device.

Solution:

Try restarting the app completely by following these steps:

  1. Open your phone’s task manager (usually by swiping up from the bottom and holding, or tapping the recent apps button).

  2. Swipe away the NCS+ app to fully close it.

  3. Open the app again and try connecting to your Colourpin II.
