Creating and managing Projects (Pro Feature)

Projects in NCS+ help you organise your moodboards more efficiently and collaborate with others across multiple boards. This article will walk you through how to create, rename, move, and delete projects, as well as how to manage the moodboards within them.

Creating a New Project

To create a new project in NCS+ (Web only):

  1. Go to the Projects view in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Click the + Create button.

  3. Give your project a name.

  4. Click Create.

Your new project will now appear in the list, and you can start adding moodboards to it.

Renaming a Project

You can rename a project at any time:

  1. Open the project you want to rename

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the project name.

  3. Select Rename.

  4. Enter the new name and confirm.

Deleting a Project

To delete a project:

  1. Open the project you want to delete.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the Project name in the top left corner

  3. Select Delete Project.

  4. Confirm your action.

⚠️ Note: Deleting a project deletes all the moodboards inside it. 

Moving Moodboards into a Project

To move an existing moodboard into a project:

  1. Click on Boards in the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) for the moodboard you want to move

    1. In Grid view mode: The menu is in the top right corner of the board card
    2. In List view mode: The menu is in the last column of the row.
  3. Select Move to Project.

  4. Click on the project you want to move it to in the list.

⚠️ Note: You currently cannot move a moodboard out of a project once it has been moved into one.

Leaving a Project

To leave a project:

  1. Click on Projects in the left-hand navigation panel

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) for the project you want to leave

  3. Choose Leave Project.

This moves the moodboard back to your general moodboards area.
