Saving scans to moodboards (Pro feature)
As a Pro user, you can both save the best matching suggestions for the scans you've made with the Colourpin II / SE / Pro as well as the actual scanned surface. This can serve as a great source of inspiration and/or documentation in your design work, as it allows you to store the NCS colour code of the scanned surface, as opposed to only the closest matching colour, which may be lighter, darker, more chromatic or a slightly different hue.
On the Web
- Navigate to https://app.ncscolour.com/find#match
- Click on the scan that you want to save in the scan history located on the left side
- Click on the Save to Board icon in the top section to save the scan to a selected board
- Alternatively, you can save the colour to your workspace if you want to gather a batch of colours and products to save by clicking on the Save to Workspace icon.
- In the popup that appears, select the board that you want to save it to and click Add or click on Create Board below the board selection dropdown to create a new moodboard.
