Sharing a public link to your moodboard

Public links make it easy to share your moodboard with clients, colleagues, or friends without inviting them as collaborators. Anyone with the link can view your board in a read-only format, and you can turn the link on or off at any time.

What is a Public Link?

A public link lets you share your board with anyone.

People with the link can:

• View the board

• Zoom and inspect colours and products

• See your layout and notes

They cannot edit the board, add items, leave comments, or change any content.

On NCS+ Web

Turn on the Public Link

1. Open the board you want to share.

2. Select the Share button in the top-right corner.

3. Click on the Copy public link hyperlink at the bottom left corner.

4. The link is automatically copied to your clipboard, so you can paste it into an email or other communication channel (Teams, Slack, etc.)

Turn off the Public Link

1. Open the Share menu.

2. Click on Public link enabled which will open a dropdown.

3. Select Public link disabled.

4. The link will immediately stop working.

Copying the Link Again

If the link is active, you can always return to Share and copy it without generating a new one.

On NCS+ Mobile

Turn on the Public Link

1. Open the board.

2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) or the Share icon.

3. Tap on Share

4. Tap Share public link.

5. Select which app you want to share it through, or copy it to your clipboard.

Turn off the Public Link

1. Open the Share menu.

2. Tap Share
3. On the public link, click on Enabled
4. Select Disabled.

5. The board will no longer be publicly accessible.

Privacy Notes

• Public link sharing is view-only. No one can edit your board unless you invite them explicitly.

• Public links can be turned off at any time.

• Public links do not reveal any other boards or personal information. Only the selected board is shared.
